Freshers Week
It's almost time when the time is here,
The time that's only once a year.
We can hardly wait 'cause it's so near.
It's Rock Soc Fresher's madness!
Yes, ladies and gentlemen and smizmars, it's time once again to engage in the chaos that is Rock Soc Fresher's Week. We'll be out and about all week doing events every day from Monday 19th to Sunday 25th.
"What will you be doing?" You ask. Well, here we go:
Monday 19th - "Warm Up" night in our new home, The Whitworth.
A more relaxed evening to get everyone out and
involved in Rock Soc once again.
Tuesday 20th - Gaming Night in Kyoto Lounge. If you like your
rock and gaming, then this is for you. A night of
video games and rock music in Kyoto Lounge on
Grosvenor Street, so get your nerd on.
Wednesday 21st - Pub Quiz in The Ducie Arms. A time to meet
new people and test your thinking parts with
a quiz written and hosted by the chairman
Beardy Dan.
Thursday 22nd - Pub Night. A night of showing our favourite pubs
to new people and getting to know them.
We'll be going from the Union to Sandbar and
then on to The Salisbury.
Friday 23rd - The Pub Crawl Of Epic Win! The big event of the
week. We shall embark on a mighty quest from the
Union Bar up to Club HD for Rockbottom.

Saturday 24th - Club Night. As if the pub crawl wasn't enough,
we'll be heading to Spitfire in Satan's Hollow via
The Salisbury for a jump around and some metal
Sunday 25th - Chill out in the Ford Madox Brown. Assuming
you're still standing, we'll be out on the Sunday for
a chilled out afternoon with a burger/steak in
Wetherspoons to recover from the week.
The Fresher's Fair will be running from the Tuesday 'til Thursday in the union buildings. Drop by and see our stall to sign up to the society and mailing list or if you fancy a chat.
